About Breakara Demolition

Breakara Demolition works out of 52-11 Van Loon Street in Elmhurst, and takes on demolition across New York City.

We do three things: strip out interiors, take structures down, and break out and remove concrete. We are a demolition contractor rather than a general builder, so we are the trade that clears the way for the work that comes next.

We look before we quote. Almost everything that decides a demolition job is invisible from a description. What a wall is doing, what is under a slab, whether machinery can reach the back of the house, where a container can legally stand. We go and see, and then you get a number that holds.

We plan the sequence before anything comes down. What gets isolated, what gets protected, what order things come apart in, and how material leaves. Demolition that is not sequenced is just breakage, and it costs more, not less.

We plan the material out before we start. Volume, container placement and carry route are worked out at the survey, because in this borough that is frequently the constraint the whole schedule runs on.

We tell you what we find. An older slab under the one you asked us to remove, a wall that turns out to be structural, a service that is still live. You hear about it when we find it, not at the end.

We leave the site clear. What our demolition generates, we take away. The space is left ready for whoever is in next.
